Attempted Photo Shoot

I wanted to get some one year pictures of Bennett so we got the kids all dressed up, took them to a little park in downtown South Bend, and snapped some photos. It was so miserably hot! The kids lasted about 10 minutes and then they were sooo done. The mosquitos came out and we were getting eaten alive. Bennett just wanted to eat rocks, Niah wanted to take the pictures, and Chloe wouldn't look or smile at the camera. There were also some creepy looking people there, so needless to say we weren't there long and the shoot wasn't real successful!
Here's what we got. These two of the girls turned out pretty cute. They can be such good friends one minute and worst enemies the next. It's enough to drive me crazy!

What a handsome boy! The long sleeved shirt was not helping in the heat.

There are a few that turned out, but we may have to try again in the near future. Maybe we'll get a cooler day.

This Boy

This boy brings joy to my heart! He is the sweetest thing ever made. Bennett is nine months old now- almost ten months. He loves to play with his sisters, be outside, swing, and he LOVES his mommy. He likes to feed himself. We have stopped giving him baby food because he gets mad at us and hits the spoon away. He likes to touch his food before it goes in his mouth! He is a busy-body. He loves exploring and seeing what is going on around him. He's a good napper and sleeps pretty good at night. He can wave hello and bye-bye. He gives fives to Daddy.
His smile is so big and genuine. It really brightens any room! We love our Benny Boo and love having him in our family.

Outdoors

Our family loves to be out in the great outdoors. The weather is finally nice. We took Bryan's kayak out the other day to enjoy the sunshine and warm weather. We had a good time.

Doctor

My husband is just about done with medical school! What an accomplishment. It's hard to believe that our four years in Vermont are almost over. Bryan is such a great person, daddy, and husband. I'm so proud of him for achieving his goal of becoming a doctor.
I made him pose for some pictures in his white coat. He was a good sport and I think they turned out nicely.

He looks official in his white coat. I love it.

Keeping Track

I am one who loves to take photos. So, to keep track of all the photos I take, I am starting a blog. I hope this blog can help me keep track of the many photos that don't make it to my journal blog. To start, I thought some fun, spring pictures of my kids were appropriate! Aren't they darling in their Easter outfits?
